He also promoted the obnoxious attitude that the "catholic" church is the only source of Truth in the world. And thus and thereby effectively waged war against all other Faith Traditions and their various cultural expressions. And against Christians of a more liberal persuasion, and/or whom promoted the necessary ecumenism in todays irreversible multi-cultural world. Cardinal Dulles also promoted this obnoxious attitude re other Faith Traditions--he even published essays stating the case for this intolerance.
